Rose Dawson is running the London Marathon!

Our own Osteopath, Elizabeth, is very proud to be part of Rose's support team to help her get everything in place to run the London Marathon.

Rose told us

My dad suffered a cardiac arrest in 2021, luckily he survived and after this he had a pacemaker/defibrillator fitted. On further examination it was found that our family have a genetic heart condition (dilated cardiomyopathy), and my auntie and uncle have now had the same devices fitted. The British Heart Foundation are currently funding research into reversing the effects of genetic heart conditions, so I have decided I wanted to help raise money for this charity in the hope it can help families like mine in the future.

I just thought it was a great story and one which I was delighted to be able to support. Osteopathy is such a great way to allow your body to do great things. Rose ran her first 10K in October and with her determination I have no doubt that she will run The Marathon, and, raise lots of money for the BHF!
