Dr Dawn Bailham has 15 years clinical experience in the delivery of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to children, adolescents and adults in NHS community and in-patient settings with various presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-esteem/confidence issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, substance misuse difficulties, relationship or work related difficulties. She has completed a number of postgraduate courses in CBT delivered by the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.
Following an initial assessment Dr Bailham can provide 6, 12 or 16 sessions of therapy depending on the presenting problems of clients. Dr Bailham is a registered therapist with a number of health insurance providers if this is required.
Dr Bailham is also a Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT) practitioner and regularly provides CAT therapy to adolescent and adults with a variety of mental health/ adjustment/personality difficulties including depression, anxiety, self-esteem/identity issues, work related stress, relationship difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, substance misuse difficulties, bipolar disorder and borderline personality difficulties. She has provided CAT to clients in inpatient and NHS community health settings.
